Was born in northeast Houston, Tx to family from Monterey, Nuevo Leon. He was raised  in a neighborhood called Greenwood, where he learned the hard way growing up. He was locked up at the early age of 14, and was in and out of the penitentiary until the age of 24. Through it all Shy B has been blessed to have overcome his surroundings and turn his life around to now be pushing forward in his dream to be successful in this music game.
